Ice rink named after a lake
Imandra all-year-round ice rink opened in Monchegorsk. Inauguration turned into a festive sports event, featuring a workshop, autograph session with the star Russian hockey players Valery Grachev and Alexander Osokin, and the first friendly hockey match.
The size of the rink is about 3 thousand square meters. In addition to the ice arena, it includes four locker rooms, a skate rental area, cafe and administrative and amenity premises.
Nornickel began construction of the rink in January 2024; at the same time, in September 2025, the company completed renovation of the ice rink in Zapolyarny.
