The seedlings were planted in an area damaged by a fire back in 2018. The campaign has become the core event of the All-Russian movement "Save the Forest". The event was attended by representatives of the Kola MMC and volunteers of Nornickel's Goodness Factory program.

"The campaign envisaged planting 10 thousand pine trees in the areas affected by anthropogenic impact. We are talking about 70 to 75 hectares. There is little vegetation left there.
The task ahead is challenging, clear, and environment-centric – joint participation in the campaign and planting pine trees – so that from 2024 and the following year onward the area gets restored and becomes a green and beautiful spot."
